Elections Canada provides information and services to help people with disabilities vote. Services include:

  • help with marking ballots
  • accessible polling station
  • mobile polling stations
  • information in alternative formats
  • voting template
  • interpreters, on request
  • open- and closed-captioned video tapes

Becoming a Canadian citizen

If you are applying for Canadian citizenship, you can get study materials in alternative formats (audio version, large print or Braille). You can also get assistance during the citizenship process if you have a visual, learning or hearing disability. Contact Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
